“After discovering what appeared to be a problem with my main sewer line backing up and not knowing who to call I desperately started searching online and calling plumbers. Being that it was around 9:00 pm I was getting sent to voice mail when calling everyone else but Mike picked up right away. He was very reassuring and we discussed how he would go about diagnosing the problem, and he arrived promptly the next morning. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts to clear the sewer line it could not be cleared, and he confirmed that it was due to the disintegrating Orangeburg pipe that was installed over 60 years ago. He recommended replacing it with PVC and installing an additional cleanout. His quote for the work was very reasonable, and he worked around my schedule to come back and do the job. During the sewer line replacement he also ended up having to replace a section of rusted out cast iron drainage pipe in the basement. Mike works with his son and I like the fact that they are a small family run business. All of the work done was high quality and professional and he took care of everything including having the utility lines located and getting the permit for inspection. As an added bonus, he also stands behind his work with a two year warranty on parts and labor. If you are searching for an excellent plumber this is your guy. He is friendly and honest with an incredible work ethic and does quality work at a reasonable price. I am so glad I called him and will definitely be using him again if I have any more plumbing problems.”
